Hi All,

I am planning on building a subwoofer out of the 4 cu ft in the near future. I'm wondering what recommendations people have for the configuration.

I have settled on the Stereo Integrity 18" woofer, but what would be the best way to drive it? would the Bash 500W plate amp be a good fit? Does a plate amp even fit on the back of the sub with the way the internal bracing of the box is setup?

Building this subwoofer is actually a lot easier than my instructions might sound and can be done in a day with very little effort. I'm just trying to give as much detail as I can so you should read through all of this prior to starting. The kit itself will go together okay even if you have some slight assembly errors with bracing or side panels not being 100% squared up. That's always a goal for my flat pack designs. If you see any mistakes in my instructions, please let me know.

It seems like people have been asking for more ported subwoofer boxes, so I decided to make up some easy to assemble models. They all go together pretty much the same exact way, so I took photos of the assembly process. This one happens to be the 15" model. I spent a lot of time making sure this design went together as easy as possible and pretty much fool proof which makes assembly very easy and fast. As with all my flat pack designs, there is no need for drilling holes or using screws...
