How do you compare the Argos MTM with HT-88 ? Is there any design HT-55 available? Argos MTM - just the drivers and tweeter hits $150...i am trying to see if there is anything less than $100.
Completely different speakers, the Argos has much better bass response with much wider dispersion in the upper treble so the balance is far better when in comes to for music and in providing a larger sound stage. Obviously it's a much smaller speaker so you won't get the auditorium filling sound level the pro drivers on the HT-88 are capable of. The Nexus MTM is going to be the least expensive MTM design I have available if you wanted to stick with something in that form factor.
