Diy vs my svs pb 2000's.

  1. So I truly only have 2 good locations for my subs. As much as I'd like to have 4, my open floor plan just doesn't accommodate it, and I don't want to stack. Currently I am running dual svs pb 2000's with fairly good results, but plan to build 2 diy 18 inch ported cubes with the Dayton drivers and Dayton sa1000 pushing each sub. Will this be a hands down upgrade?? I'm not looking for slightly better, I want without a doubt, no buyers remorse better. Anybody have experience with this 18 inch sub build? From my understanding an 18 has roughly the cone area of 2 12's. So I'd basically be doubling my cone area as well as rms power.
