Hi All, I'm starting this board because of how hard it is to get a real audition of audio gear (speakers in particulars)> The contests help, but seldom are they done in rooms that at all resemble our home systems, and don't give much time to really listen. I recently had a fellow audio DIY-er over and we had a great time, and I'd like to do more such listening/BS-ing sessions. I wouldn't mind hearing other setups in reasonable travel range, also, and probably others would, too. So, how to use this board: list what speakers or other gear you want to audition or to let others hear; what region of the country you are in (the nearest large city); what kind of sources you have (CD, vinyl, DVD, SACD, DVD-A, Blu-ray, USB); and any special circumstances.
