side wall or loose fill in woofer

  1. To be honest, there won't be much difference at all. Ported right? Just don't over stuff.

  2. actually , it is a sealed unit. I have read so many different articles and there seems to be no decisive answer.

  3. Its funny how much attention the topic gets when in reality, other than smallish midrange chambers, stuffing a cab has a rather minor affect on sound. In subwoofers it essentially has no affect provided something absorptive is in there. I'd proceed however is most convenient. I usually just stuff a wad in the back away from the driver basket. If ported, I avoid blocking the ports.

  4. I had given it absolutely no thought until I put the final clear coat on. Then, once I started reading up on the subject, the floodgates opened. But I agree, get a little something in there and call it a day.
