I would like to build them in a larger enclosure to boost low range performance and an looking for opinions on which speaker kit, and I guess woofer more specifically, would perform better in such a design. Ideas on the HT-12 vs Fusion 15 kits in a larger enclosure? I have seen the suggestions by Matt on the ideal size for each if going for a larger cab, but which do you expect will...

Expanding the value buster series beyond just the VBSS subwoofer this design started on a whim when I looked at how inexpensive could I make a decent DIY speaker design using a 15" woofer. Once I started adding up the costs based on this concept and noticed it came in lower then I had expected I knew I had to buy the parts and actually build these speakers.
Does anyone know where I can find design for a 12" subwoofer (either ported or sealed) where I'd be able to buy a subwoofer plate? I don't want to deal with electrical work myself. I just want to make a box, and install the components there.
Ideally, I want something like this Bassic-10 subwoofer from mtg-designs. Unfortunately, that design is for a 10" subwoofer.
